Hello, everyone! My name is Ian Denchasy and I’ll be editing, posting, podcasting, and providing Clippers posts as we make our way through our most exciting season yet. I’ve been a Clipper fan for over 30 years and am honored to be a part of FanSided to spread the gospel of Clipper Nation (or as I like to refer to it, “Clipper FEEEEEE-VER!!!”) from LA and beyond. Tonight I’ll be attending the game at Staples as the Clips try to solve the puzzling question, why in the HECK can’t we beat the Cav’s consistently – we’ve lost 10 of the last 11 meetings (worse than against the Lakers!) – and how will we bounce back from that inexplicable loss to Golden State? On the former, let’s just put history aside for a moment and realize this ain’t your mommy’s Clips and CP3 will adjust to notch a victory tonight. Though still in the post-Lebron rebuilding phase, Coach Byron Scott always has his troops playing hard, so the Clippers will need to avoid sleep walking through the first quarter as they did two nights ago. Kyrie Irving has proven to be the real deal, averaging 20-plus points in his first three games, while Anderson Varejao and Dion Waiters have been solid performers. Look for the Clippers to come out firing and looking to put the out-classed and out-manned Cavs away early. I’m predicting a solid 14 point win. More soon…
