Hear ye, hear ye. Fansided NBA has just released their new logo today, and it is a fun one.

You will notice the Yeti, named “Everest” by FanSided’s first blogger ever, Brian Miller of Phin Phanatic is rising up for what could unbelievable be the world’s first slam dunk in an Arctic area, and it could shatter the backboard if it has already been solidified in ice.

Everest could handle the coldest regions of Tibet, but how will he fare on the hardwood. According to wikipedia: “The Yeti or Abominable Snowman is an ape-like cryptid said to inhabit the Himalayan region of Nepal, and Tibet. It is believed to be taller than an average human and is similar to Bigfoot.” That kind of verticality would definitely give Everest a shot at dunking the basketball and truly change the game for cyptids.

Also according to wikipedia: “The scientific community generally regards the Yeti as a legend, given the lack of conclusive evidence”. That’s just what we want this yeti to become for Fansided NBA: “legendary”

I got an email today from the FanSided crew telling me that their new mobile feature has vastly improved. Yes, I know in the past there were a few issues, but now it runs smoothly, not to mention it looks awesome as well.
