Playoffs? Maybe.

AUTHOR: | IN: Blazers, Clippers, Nuggets | COMMENTS: None Yet

Realistically, I say this year is not the year for playoffs. Everyone is saying the Clippers have a chance for playoffs if they can get to at least a .500 record.  The current 8th seed Portland Trailblazers are supposedly going to fall off without Brandon Roy and their whole roster is pretty decimated due to injuries.  But Nate McMillan is one of the greatest coaches out there and has proven time and time again that injuries are not going to stop the Trailblazers.  LaMarcus Aldridge has been an absolute beast thus far, playing without Roy.  Nicolas Batum and Wesley Matthews [...]

Clippers 16-25!

AUTHOR: | IN: Blazers, Clippers, Timberwolves | COMMENTS: None Yet

The Clippers currently lead the season series against the Minnesota Timberwolves 2-1. When Willie Warren plays, that’s when you know the Clippers won.  He finished the game with 2 points and 1 assist in two minutes of playing time.  Per 36 Minutes, that would be 18 points and 9 assists! Blake’s double double streak has ended while Kevin Love’s double double streak still continues despite the fact that Love had no rebounds in the first half.  Both played a marvelous game and had equal stats. Boxscore can be found here. I’m going to love seeing Blake and Love battle each [...]

10-27-10 Blazers 98 Vs. Clippers 88

AUTHOR: | IN: Baron Davis, Blake Griffin, Blazers, Clippers | COMMENTS: None Yet

This was a great game for the first 3 and a half quarters.  Midway through the fourth quarter, Clippers had their trademark meltdown and let the Blazers go on a 15-0 run which sealed the game and forced the Clippers to lose their first game of the season and have Vinny Del Negro get a sub .500 record.  But being the first game of a new season with new coaches, players, and system, I’m not worried.  The Blazers have a system set in place with veterans and a team that has not had much change over the last several years [...]

Preseason Over – Now What?

AUTHOR: | IN: Baron Davis, Blake Griffin, Blazers, Chris Kaman, Clippers, Eric Gordon, Timberwolves | COMMENTS: None Yet

So with last night’s loss against the Sacramento Kings in what was a good close game, the Clippers preseason can be officially called over.   The team finished with a record of 1 win and 7 losses.  So what does this mean?  It means nothing, this is preseason, where it is not about the wins and losses but about player and team development. Blake Griffin looks as solid as ever.  I know this has been said over and over and over again but dude is a beast.  His dynamic presence combined with his hustle and athleticism always makes him heard on [...]

Tuesday October 5, 2010 – Clippers 86 – Blazers 115 Preseason

AUTHOR: | IN: Blake Griffin, Blazers, Chris Kaman, Clippers, Eric Bledsoe, Eric Gordon | COMMENTS: None Yet

Wow, first preseason game, and the Clippers lose by 29 points.  I didn’t get to see the game on account of the game not being shown on television.  So I just skimmed through the boxscore here and there throughout the night.  Can’t say I’m not disappointed though.  Preseason means nothing but a close game would have been more reassuring than this blowout.  Especially since they’re our first opponents in the regular season.  No matter though, still gotta have faith in our Clips. Notes from the game Eric Gordon and Baron Davis did not play.  Baron Davis still has some conditioning [...]

Clippers could’ve done better, could’ve done worse with today’s trade.
