Hooking up with Kids Foot Locker, Clippers superstar Chris Paul is seen taking selfies with the basketball players of the future, NBA and WNBA alike, before they hit the mainstream and become household names… at least until a suspecting bystander approaches Paul and the children mid-selfie who too asks for a photo only to be denied by Paul who’s focus is solely on the youth.
For the umpteenth time, Paul is displaying his comedic side that translates well across the visual medium. While the State Farm ads are excellent, Paul is allowed to be himself, or at least be the opposite of the loathsome personality he shows on the floor–a personality that has cause many across the NBA to dislike him.
An interesting ad, it’ll be hopeful Kids Foot Locker continues the ‘Selfie’ series with Chris Paul going into the 2014-15 season.
