The NBA does an excellent job of capitalizing on marketable opportunities. In what looks to be the first of many schedule leaks, Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times reports the Los Angeles Clippers will be facing off against Pacific division rivals in the Golden State Warriors on Christmas for the second year in a row.
Clippers will play Warriors Christmas night. makes sense for NBA to schedule them because of playoff history and dislike for the other.

If this game ends up anything like last years Christmas bout, fans will surely enjoy what’s in front of them. Not only did the Warriors walk away with a victory over the Clippers on X-Mas, but they did it at the expense of Blake Griffin‘s presence as Andrew Bogut and Draymond Green lured the All-Star power forward into two technical fouls, forcing the referees to dismiss him form the game.
Whether you use that specific game or any other contest between these two franchises, one thing is clear: they is a strong sense of distaste here. It shows in the regular season and it showed in the playoffs as the two teams fought seven games against each other, the Clippers being the last man standing by the buzzer sound at the end of Game 7.
Last season the two teams split the season series 2-2.
The full 82-game schedule is expected to release within the next two weeks.
