Clippers Release 2014 Las Vegas Summer League Roster


In a press release, the Los Angeles Clippers have released their 2014 Las Vegas Summer League roster. Here are this year’s participants:

21 Will Clyburn Small Forward Iowa State

5 Kyle Kuric Shooting Guard Louisville
14 DeAndre Liggins Shooting Guard/ Small Forward Kentucky

With Tyronn Lue, last year’s Summer League head coach in Cleveland, the position will be manned by Brendan O’Connor who played the role of assistant coach on Doc Rivers‘ coaching staff last season. O’Connor will also be joined by Armond Hill, J.P. Clark, Dave Severns, and Howard Eisley on the bench.

The Clippers will kick off their Summer League in a July 12th matchup against the Chicago Bulls (Doug McDermott), following by the Miami Heat (Shabazz Napier) on July 14th, and the Houston Rockets on July 15th. The remainder of the games will be configured by seeding as Las Vegas has shifted the Summer League into a tournament where a champion is crowned at the end. Last year, the Golden State Warriors walked away as the first ever Summer League champions.
