Four years into the NBA and Blake Griffin dunks still make me squirm.
They’re tantalizing, emphatic, entertaining, and create of one of the more natural responses in the NBA from Ralph Lawler, Clippers broadcast play-by-play guy.
Luckily for myself and all those who are fans of Blake Griffin, we’ve come across a package that includes all 176 dunks from Blake Griffin’s season, not including the playoffs.
It’s hard to describe what’s below as we’ve seen it countless times (per Basketball Reference, Griffin has made a total of 784 total dunks in his career), but each creates the same exact feeling as the last, some drawing better responses than others. No all he doesn’t do is dunk, but when he does, he’s one of the five most entertaining players in the NBA today.
After watching all 176 dunks, it’s safe to say my personal favorite was the demolition of Kris Humphries. Since Griffin’s rookie season, NBA players have been hesitant to contest any attempt from the power forward that looks like an resemblance of a dunk. Because of that, there have been less facial dunks, but Humphries was caught in the wrong place at the wrong time and was placed upon one of the many posters Griffin has piled up in his career.
With all of that said, enjoy the highlight reel.
