Yesterday the NBA announced that Los Angeles Clippers President Andy Roeser will be taking an indefinite leave of absence, starting immediately.
This is just another fall-out from the Donald Sterling situation, this time with the NBA proceeding to remove all things heavily related to DOnald Sterling from the Clippers front office. According to multiple peoples, Roeser had been Sterling’s right-hand man, so forcing him out makes a bit of sense.
Per Arash Markazi of ESPN Los Angeles, Sterling’s wife Shelly Sterling will help appoint a new CEO for the team.
Shelly Sterling says she’s working with the NBA in the search for a new CEO of the Clippers. The league had no comnent. Unbelievable if true.

Based on this comment by Clippers Executive Vice President Mike Bass, Roeser’s removal is another sign of a fresh start.
“This will provide an opportunity for a new CEO to begin on a clean slate and for the team to stabilize under difficult circumstances.”
