The regular season ends in a week. This has led to an open invitation of numerous broadcast television announcers and analysts sharing their picks of who they think will bring home the gold come June. And everyone’s favorite announcer in Reggie Miller is choosing the Los Angeles Clippers to defeat the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals.
Reggie Miller just picked the Clippers to win the title.

To put that in layman’s terms: the Clippers are doomed.
Not because they lack the talent. Chris Paul and Blake Griffin sit well in that department. This time it won’t be the coaching that stops them as Doc Rivers impeding affect on this club has shown positive signs throughout the season. Defense is an issue, but that’d mean another team can outscore them in four out of seven games. So on and so forth.
The issue is that Reggie Miller, a man who has proven he doesn’t know much during NBA broadcasts thinks this team is gonna win it all. Let’s call it a curse. Yes, a cure from the human “he needs a mute button”. Doesn’t Reggie Miller know the game of basketball? Sure. He’s a Hall of Famer and was one heck of a player during his tenure with the Indiana Pacers. We remember the eight points in nine seconds. The push-off on Jordan. Fun times. Unfortunately that fun didn’t transfer to Reggie in the announcing booth where he’s unbearable 99.9% of the time.
So the Clippers are cursed. When they don’t win it all you know who to blame. Don’t say I didn’t tell you so.
