Don’t expect to see Jamal Crawford on the court when the Los Angeles Clippers take on the Phoenix Suns Tuesday night.
Doc Rivers says Jamal Crawford probably out Tuesday vs. Suns with strained left calf
— Brad Turner (@BA_Turner) March 3, 2014
Missing the Suns game will make this the second consecutive game Crawford has missed this season, and his second miss overall. Considering how many games the rest of the wings have missed, this is a good number.
Arash Markazi of tweeted reported the Clippers expected Crawford to miss at least two or three games due to the calf strain which means his next in-game appearance will either be on March 6th against the Los Angeles Lakers, a national televised game, or against the Atlanta Hawks on March 8th.
On the season Jamal Crawford has averaged 19 points per game, his highest scoring output since 2008-09 when he split time between the New York Knicks and Golden State Warriors.
Expect Darren Collison to start in Crawford’s spot against the Suns.
