After some speculation that Glen “Big Baby” Davis would be available against the New Orleans Pelicans, Arash Markazi says the recently acquired forward will miss tonight’s game:
Glen Davis is with the Clippers but will not play tonight. The Clippers say he will take a physical Tuesday and play Wednesday.

While he won’t be making his first appearance tonight, he will be at tonight’s game in New Orleans.
Davis was acquired after he and the Orlando Magic came to an agreement on a buyout, allowing Davis to become an unrestricted free agent. And after the Los Angeles Clippers traded both Byron Mullens and Antawn Jamison at the trade deadline, the team had room for a frontcourt player that could spare Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan minutes going forward. Add the fact that Davis played majority of his career with Doc Rivers as a member of the Boston Celtics, and this was a fit made in heaven for all parties involved.
It’s unclear what deal Davis signed with the Clippers, but they’ve secured his talents for the remainder of the NBA season.
