Griffin Picks Terrence Ross to Win the Dunk Contest

If anyone in the league should know how to pick a slam dunk contest winner it’s Blake Griffin. And his pick for who he thinks will win tonight’s dunk contest in New Orleans is a pretty good pick:

“I like Terrence Ross. He’s got everything you kind of need for a dunk contest. But you can’t really go wrong with Paul George or John Wall or any of the guys really. But I like Terrence Ross. I like what he can do.” (GRIFFIN TALKS DUNK CONTEST, FORMAT)

Blake’s pick is a pretty popular one. Considering Ross was last years champion and has displayed some of the best dunks we’ve seen during the season, he’s one of the favorites for the upcoming competition.

According to Bovada, one popular betting site, Paul George is the favorite for the contest with odds of 9/5. After George is Griffin’s pick in Terrence Ross at 53/20 odds followed by John Wall (15/4), Ben McLemore (4/1), Damian Lillard (6/1) and Harrison Barnes (7/1).

The dunk contest will begin once Kendrick Lamar finishes performing.
