Talk about some news that made the entire Los Angeles Clippers fan base hold their breath. Here is the account of J.J. Redick‘s “injury” during the first quarter against the Indiana Pacers from Dan Woike of the Orange County Register:

According to the team, Redick is available for return, calling the injury a leg contusion.

This type of news surely frightens the fan base and team considering the health of the organization this season. Since injuring his wrist in November, J.J. has played three games averaging 21.3 points, shooting 52 percent from the field and 47 percent from three. With Chris Paul out until the All-Star break, Redick’s presence will be crucial as he provides a scoring threat that only Blake Griffin or Jamal Crawford can replicate.
