After missing a month of action behind a sprained ankle suffered against the Cleveland Cavaliers in December, rookie forward Reggie Bullock is set to return against the Los Angeles Lakers (Lakers vs. Clippers tickets are available via Barrys Tickets) per Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times:
Reggie Bullock says he will play Friday vs. Lakers. Has sprained left ankle

While his basic statistics haven’t been phenomenal, just averaging 2.7 points on 37 percent shooting (28 percent from behind the arc), Bullock’s play has been warranted by advanced statistics. With Bullock on the floor, the Clippers have posted a defensive rating of 88.7 opposed to the 101.9 rating when he’s off the floor. Sure the sample size is mensicule with Bullock only playing 175 minutes on the season compared to the 1616 minutes played without him, but that type of number can’t go unnoticed. When healthy he had been the team’s best wing defender with Jared Dudley struggling and Matt Barnes fighting injury.
Since the team released Stephen Jackson, it’ll be interesting to see how Doc Rivers manages Bullock’s minutes in his first game back. He’s averaged 10.3 minutes on the season, so something along that line would be fine.
