Rivers: Paul May Have Seperated Right Shoulder

Los Angeles Clippers star guard Chris Paul left the Dallas Mavericks after suffering a right shoulder injury in the third quarter. According to Doc Rivers, Paul may be on track to miss three to five weeks of play due to what the injury has been revealed as a separated shoulder.

This isn’t good news for the Los Angeles Clippers. Paul missing three to five weeks could result in a missed playoff berth. At least that’s the worst-case scenario as the Western Conference is extremely close.

Darren Collison will likely step into the starting lineup while recently activated Maalik Wayns plays sporadic minutes at point guard as Rivers will likely make Jamal Crawford the unofficial back-up point guard.
