From Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports, the Los Angeles Clippers have reportedly met with free agent forward Lamar Odom:
Doc Rivers and other members of Los Angeles Clippers management met with Lamar Odom for nearly two hours following practice on Friday at the team’s facilities, sources told Yahoo Sports.
“Everyone was shocked, but it was a good surprise,” one Clippers source said of Odom’s appearance.

At this point, it’s a foregone conclusion that Odom will return to the Clippers. If not now or in the near future, then in January when teams can being giving out 10-day contracts.
Considering the stretch fours the Clippers have coming off the bench in Byron Mullens and the yet-to-be-seen Antawn Jamison, signing Odom give Los Angeles an immediate upgrade. Offensively Odom has been bad the last two years, but his defense is what the Clippers need most out of him. The best defensive lineups that came from the Clippers last season all featured Odom. Sure Eric Bledsoe has been replaced on the bench with Darren Collison, but Odom’s impact can immediately improve one of the worst benches in the league.
