Los Angeles Clippers forward Matt Barnes took his defensive talented hands and fingers to the wrong avenue in Twiter after being ejected from Wednesday’s win over the Oklahoma City Thunder because of a scuffle with Serge Ibaka.

A couple years ago Matt Barnes had negative things to say about Blake, but once you’re a teammate he truly has your back. We all know what the tweet said which has now been taken down by Barnes but then issued a apology a short time after.

Doc Rivers gave his opinion on the situation.

“I think he was very emotional, down that he got thrown out, so I get that part. The choice of words, obviously that’s a word that I’m not a fan of in all venues.”

“This is less than two hours after this incident, so I think we should kind of let it cool down a little bit and then we’ll see how everyone feels,” Blake Griffin said. “But we appreciate what Matt does for us, and he’s a great teammate.”
