Clippers and Dodgers Share Championship Pursuit

This year the Los Angeles Clippers are “Back in Blue” while the Los Angeles Dodgers “Think Blue.” Besides the color blue, both teams have another thing in common this year and that’s their pursuit of a championship.

The Dodgers have had a roller-coaster season and everyone wants to see the Dodgers win another title in this year’s World Series. Likewise, Clipper fans want to see their team finally win a title. This could certainly be a great year for Los Angeles sports fans because both teams certainly have the talent to win a championship.

With basketball season gearing up, all eyes are on the new and improved Clippers. I’m certain they’ll make a deep playoff run, but for that to happen, they’ll need to win games defensively.

So far this preseason has shown us that DeAndre Jordan can hold a ground of his own as the team’s starting center and it looks like Los Angeles finally has a big three of its own. The entire team seems to have embraced the high expectations that come with being considered an elite contender in the NBA.  It’s really not surprising because many analysts have them above the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder.
