Superstar point guard Chris Paul held a camp for young point guards in Winston-Salem, NC. The camp took place from August 9th to August 12th and some of the best collegiate guards in the country traveled to North Carolina to work out with him. They also got a chance to play against him too. It’s a great opportunity for some of the rising stars to learn on the court from the arguably the best point guard in the NBA.
The CP3 Elite Guard Camp is an invitation-only camp and only the top high school and collegiate point guards from North Carolina and across the country are invited. Chris Paul brings his experience, as well as an elite group of instructors to help a new generation of guards.
The Camp includes a photo with Chris Paul, Jordan Brand Gear, 2:1 coach to player ratio, an opportunity to play alongside collegiate All-Americans and mentoring from the top skill instructors in the game of basketball.
Some notable collegiate athletes include Shabazz Napier, Jerian Grant and high schooler Tyler Ulis. Athletes from Michigan State, UCONN, Missouri, Duke, La Salle, Notre Dame, VCU, North Carolina, Boston College, Minnesota, Memphis, North Carolina State, Wake Forest, Gonzaga, Eastern Michigan and Delaware were all present.
But I’ll keep this short and sweet. The six-time all-star and two-time Olympian destroyed these players. Here’s a clip from the CP3 Elite Guard Camp showing the kids a few moves or too.
