There is no word where the two millionaires will dine, but I am guessing some type of Steak House. Carl Landry had dinner with Doc Rivers in July, no contract was offered. Landry decided to sign with the Sacramento Kings
The Clippers can only offer Jamison the veterans minimum and adding Jamison would put the club over the tax line, even if it waives the non-guaranteed contract of Maalik Wayns or Brandon Davies. A minimum deal for Jamison would be $1,352,181 which is highest minimum salary for a player with 10-plus years of NBA experience according to the Collective Bargain Agreement.
Jamison had an atrocious season with the other team that plays in Staples Center due to a lack of playing time and a riddled relationship with Mike D’Antoni averaging 9.4 points in 21.5 minutes per game, both career lows.
