The sell of Los Angeles is what gets stars and superstars to take their talents to the state of California. You’re playing in one of the best cities in the United States that has die-hard fans. Great weather. The draw of Hollywood. It’s the total package and Blake Griffin has taken advantage of it.
After inking endorsement deals with Subway, Kia and AT&T and appearing in television shows “90210” and “The Book Club”, Griffin has landed on the big screens as he’ll be featured in breakup comedy “Flock of Dudes” which will feature Skylar Astin (21 & Up), Hilary Duff (Lizzie McGuire), Ray Liotta (GoodFellas) and Melissa Rauch (Tru Blood).
We haven’t seen much of the comedic side of Blake Griffin outside of the pranks he pulled on sleeping teammates, but based on commercials, he may fit the bill in a small role.
The movie will be directed by Bob Castrone. This will be Castrone’s first theater movie after directing and producing several television shorts and a television movie.
While the information on the comedy film is minimal at the moment, some have referred to it as the “female Hangover.” The International Movie Database (IMDB) describes it as “A 30-something year old decides to “break up” with his best buds in order to finally grow up.”
