Clippers have shown interest in F/C Andray Blatche


Blatche has re-signed with the Brooklyn Nets on a 1-year deal worth $1.4 million according to Peter Vecsey and Howard Beck of the New York Times.

According to Chris Broussard of ESPN the Los Angeles Clippers are interested in acquiring 6’11 26 year old forward Andray Blatche. Blatche made $1,146,877 in 2012 playing for the Brooklyn Nets. If the Clippers were to extend on offer to Andray his role would be to back up center DeAndre Jordan. Blatche would be a huge upgrade to the Clippers back up big from a year ago Ronny TuriafRyan Hollins, & Lamar Odom.

Last season Blatche averaged 10.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per game on 19 minutes a night. He also shot the ball at a 51 percent clip last season

He had career highs of PPG: 16.8 (2010/11) RPG: 8.2 (2010/11) BLKPG: 1.4 (2007/08)
