While being traded to Boston is officially ruled out, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports the Los Angeles Clippers are still shopping DeAndre Jordan around the league:
Clips, Blazers talked on DeAndre Jordan prior to Doc Rivers’ hiring, sources say, but Portland interest and Jordan market value unclear now.

The Portland Trailblazers have been in the market for centers for the past two years. They offered center Roy Hibbert a max contract last season before getting their offered matched by the Indiana Pacers and have been rumored to give Nikola Pekovic a look during this years offseason. After deploying JJ Hickson at the center for all of last season it’s clear to team is ready for an upgrade.
DeAndre Jordan is a project center who is owed $21 million over the next three seasons. If given the right opportunity he could become a lesser-Tyson Chandler due to his height and athletic ability. You can see why the Blazers would take a flyer on the sixth year center even with his free-throw shooting being abysmal and his lack of consistent offense killing spacing.
This trade rumor has little traction at the moment. It’s unclear how Doc Rivers feels at the moment about DeAndre Jordan, but with the draft tomorrow there’s a chance that this thing gains a little steam.
