Many of the interviewees have already spoken with the Los Angeles Clippers on the telephone not in person until today.

Here is the Clippers interview schedule with several candidates throughout the rest of the week:

  • Monday (Today): Brian Shaw (Associate Head Coach of Indiana Pacers) is said to have been at the Practice Facility and is scheduled to have dinner with Donald T. Sterling tonight.
  • Tuesday: Byron Scott (Fired as Head Coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers)
  • Wednesday: Lionel Hollins (Fired as Head Coach of the Memphis Grizzlies)
  • Thursday: Nate McMillan (Former Portland Trail Blazers head coach)

Ramona Shelburne and Chris Broussard of ESPN reported last week that Shaw and former Denver Nuggets coach George Karl are considered the frontrunners for the job but no interview has been set up with Karl as of yet.

While the Clippers brass are bringing in the candidates team owner Donald Sterling will have the last say-so in who is hired as the head coach.

Topics: Brian Shaw, Byron Scott, ESPN, George Karl, Lionel Hollins, Los Angeles Clippers, Nate McMillan, NBA, NBA Offseason
