Jordan joins players such as Kyrie Irving, Dion Waiters, Paul George and other young studs across the league that have been invited to Las Vegas.
Here’s what DeAndre Jordan had to say about the invitation via the Los Angeles Times:
“I’m glad to have this opportunity,” Jordan said in a text message. “I’ve got to take advantage of it.”
It’s clear Jordan’s height and potential have gotten him an invite. He’ll be competing amongst other NBA players for a chance to compete in both the 2014 USA World Basketball Cup (FIBA) and the 2016 Olympics.
Jordan averaged 8.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game in his fifth NBA season.
