Brian Shaw the Front-runner for Clippers Job?

A different day, a different piece of news in regards to the Los Angeles Clippers head coaching situation. Here’s what was reported by ESPN Los Angeles,

The Los Angeles Clippers have identified Indiana Pacers assistant Brian Shaw as their No. 1 choice to become the club’s next head coach, a source told ESPNLosAngeles.com’s Ramona Shelburne.

The Clippers previously had contacted Shaw about their vacancy.

Brian Shaw has been a top named assistant coach in the NBA since his Los Angeles Lakers days. And with several openings, this seems like the year Shaw finally lands a head coaching gig. And the Clippers aren’t the only team looking to fulfill their head coaching vacancy by hiring Shaw. According to ESPN, the Brooklyn Nets have placed Shaw high above their potential candidates list.
