The National Basketball Association is once again entering the hot desert of Las Vegas for a full slate of of NBA Summer League Action. The Los Angeles Clippers will be bouncing the ball around Monday July 16th to Sunday July 22nd. The NBA announced the details of the 2013 Summer League on Wednesday. And for the first time, there will be a single-elimination tournament to make the games “mean” something.
As of right now the roster has not been set but you’re sure to see the Clippers 25th pick in the upcoming draft play on the campus of University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) at the Thomas @ Mack Center or the Cox Arena (smaller of the two). DeJuan Summers & Maalik Wayns *might* be apart of the roster.
Six of the last seven Rookie of the Year award-winners have joined their teams in Las Vegas, including Chris Paul, Brandon Roy, Kevin Durant, Tyreke Evans, Blake Griffin and Kyrie Irving.
If you haven’t made your way to Vegas for Summer League action you’re missing out on lots. It’s basketball all day long at 2 different arenas that are attached to each-other. Most of this years top picks will be there along with some of the best NBDL players. Being in Vegas watching NBA Summer League basketball is unlike any other viewing experience, the players and coaches walk and sit where you walk and sit so you have unlimited access. Along with all the players and coaches often times you will see NBA greats walking around.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 18 – Cox Pavilion – San Antonio vs. LA Clippers, 6 p.m.
THURSDAY, JULY 19 – Cox Pavilion – L.A. Clippers vs. L.A. Lakers, 4:30 p.m.
SATURDAY, JULY 21 – Thomas & Mack Center – Chicago vs. L.A. Clippers, 4:30 p.m.
SUNDAY, JULY 22 – Cox Pavilion – Boston vs. LA Clippers, 2 p.m.
Tickets for the 2012 NBA Summer League can be purchased through UNLVtickets.com or by visiting the Thomas & Mack Center box office and UNLV ticket outlets. All general admission tickets are $25 for the day; seniors and children (3-12) are $15.
