Well this definitely isn’t good news.
Clippers annouce Blake Griffin suffered sprained right ankle in practice Monday. He is playing — for how long, we’ll see.

Clippers sideline reporters have announced that Blake Griffin has been receiving treatment for the sprain, but this is terrible timing. He’ s been the second best player in this series after Chris Paul and they need everything they can get from Blake with the surrounding cast struggling in the past two games. There’s been no news of Vinny Del Negro limiting his minutes so we’ll see how this plays out throughout game 5.
UPDATE 2:25 a.m.
If there’s any good news there’s this: Eric Pinus of the Los Angeles Times reports that Blake isn’t wearing a boot after Game 5.
Blake Griffin can barely walk, leaving Staples Center – no boot or crutches – but suffered a significant sprain yesterday (high ankle)

This leaves some hope that Griffin will participate in Game 6, but no one officially knows at the moment. It was also learned that the high ankle sprain happened in practice by Blake stepping on Lamar Odom‘s foot.
