Sources: Grant Hill to possibly retire at seasons end

The Los Angeles Clippers 40yr old Grant Hill is rumored to be leaning toward retiring from the game of Basketball instead of playing out his 2yr/$4million dollar contract.

“Strong chance,” Hill said of retirement. “I’m leaning toward it. I want to get to the end of the year and off-season and think about it but I’m pretty confident that’s where my mind is right now. I’ve enjoyed it.”

Hill has only played in 27 games this year for the Clippers with career lows in Points and Minutes played at 3.2ppg & 15.9mpg respectively due to suffering a bone bruise to his right knee. Hill’s career numbers are at 16ppg and 33mpg. Due to multiple injuries and the amount of Forwards Vinny Del Negro hasn’t been able to make room in his rotation consistently.
