The Los Angeles Clippers have waived Trey Thompkins. ”We want to thank Trey for his contribution to the Clippers,” Clippers head coach Vinny Del Negro said.

Thompkins played in 24 games last year averaging a measly 2.4pts per game while logging 5mins per game.
Thompkins was the 37th overall pick by the Clippers out of Georgia in 2011.
Thompkins did not appear in a game this season due to a left knee bone bruise. The way the Clippers managed this injury is very suspect. A talented player in College was just never given an opportunity to play. In my opinion Thompkins will be signed by a NBA team by seasons end.
