In a sign of the Clippers’ rise to prominence, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday night, joking about their rivalry with the LA Lakers, Donald Sterling’s “Hip-Hip-Hoorah” locker room chant, and even their #GotEm Twitter meme, in which the players pose over their sleeping teammates, coaches, and other personnel, snap photos, and then post them on Twitter. The practice started last year and has become a hit in the Twitterverse. They even threw props to Lamar Odom, who joined the team after a failed stint in Dallas and who has become a key piece of their team’s championship aspirations.
