OK, so it would be highly optimistic to predict a win against the 4-0 Spurs, who swept us out of the playoffs last season, but I can dream, can’t I? Though undeniably more talented and disciplined than the Warriors or Cavaliers, the Spurs may be just the type of match up suited to a win. Slower tempo, certainly. A lot will depend on Blake Griffin’s health status (burst bursa sac in elbow and strained neck), and slowing Tony Parker is no easy task. However, with the prospect of dropping under .500 and a hungry Chris Paul, look for the Clippers to give the Spurs all they can handle.
