Members of Clippers Nation can now follow the Los Angeles Clippers and get mobile updates on team scores, schedule, news, and transactions. The app will also link to photo galleries and keep users informed of social events like autograph signing sessions, contests for free tickets, and many other opportunities, all on the go. Users of the new app will have information and other unique opportunities available to only to app users.

The app is available on the following supported devices:
iOS:
iPhone & iPod Touch 2nd Generation and up
Support for iOS 4.0 and up

The app can be downloaded here, or you can search for “LA Clippers” in the Apple iTunes score. Additional information is provided here: http://www.nba.com/clippers/mobileapp/info.html

It is also available in the following languages: English, German, Northern Sami, and Spanish.

This is another great sign for the Clippers immediate future, and congratulations to the team for making it past the first round of the Playoffs for only the third time in franchise history. They have a tall order ahead of them, competing against a Spurs team that has won 16 straight games dating back into the regular season. The Spurs have been playing clearly the best offensive basketball in the NBA this year, and it should be an entertaining series of back-to-back games in L.A. this weekend.

And now, Clipper Nation can follow all the action on their SmartPhones. It’s been a great year overall by the Clippers and the next few years seem mighty bright with Chris Paul at the helm.
