After dropping two games straight, the Clippers got a bounce back win against the Hawks.
Mo Williams was the Clippers leading scorer with 25 off the bench (hopefully Nick Young can take some pressure off him in the future), and Blake Griffin added a double-double. Williams also had 3 assists and 2 steals as a cherry on top of his night. It was a big home win for the Clippers, and hopefully a lesson for them in how to close out games. They kept losing close games in February and one solution to this problem is not putting yourself in a position where you are scrapping back to get close in the 4th quarter.
The Clippers out-shot the Hawks in this one, shooting 50% from downtown and 54.3% from the field. Caron Butler and DeAndre Jordan also contributed offensively against the Hawks, which is production the Clippers sorely needed. Reggie Evans also had 10 rebounds off the bench, continuing to prove his worth to the team.
Chris Paul iced the game with a late three, and the Clippers will look to make it two-in-a-row against the Suns on Thursday night.
