Randy Foye is still missing in action because of a sprained left hamstring but that’s been a good thing because Eric Bledsoe is lighting it up right now.
Eric Gordon is day to day because of his left shoulder injury but reports says he should be back soon. I can’t wait to see him light it back up out there, the last couple of games, he was amazing.
And Chris Kaman is out for around two weeks because of an ankle sprain. Knowing Clippers history, this injury is going to last longer than expected. I want to see DeAndre Jordan show the world that he can be a quality center though and not just a decent backup.
Some good (or supposedly good) news is that Baron Davis is back. He played in last night’s loss against the Hornets and did pretty decent. He handled the ball efficiently like always but he still does not bring the speed and chaos of Eric Bledsoe that has made the last couple of games fun to watch. Eric Bledsoe has shown to be a good shooter and I want to see some combo guard action with him and Eric Gordon when Gordon comes back. It’ll be deadly to have two ball handlers out there that can also score at will.
Tonight’s game is against the Spurs and the Clippers have not won in San Antonio for many many years so let’s hope they can break the streak. I want to see Willie Warren and Aminu get more burn time too but with Baron Davis back, I doubt that will happen for Warren. Aminu might though with Gomes being moved to power forward because of the lack of big men out there. Realistically though, I sense another loss coming our way so Clipsnation, please don’t get your hopes up.
