Some Head Coach Candidates Leak Out

The Los Angeles Times took a break from their Laker coverage to update us on the Clippers’ possible thought process heading into today’s draft and also shared some information on the team’s coaching search.

According to league sources who were not authorized to speak publicly, the Clippers are interested in Dallas assistant coach Dwane Casey, former Bulls coach Vinny Del Negro, former Atlanta coach Mike Woodson, former Minnesota executive and Hall of Famer Kevin McHale, and possibly ESPN’s Mark Jackson, who played for the Clippers, and Utah assistant Tyrone Corbin.

We’ll focus on the draft this week and will spend some time this weekend analyzing the pros and cons of the names reported.
Spoiler alert: I’m high on Jackson and McHale, low on Casey, Woodson and Del Negro and need to look more into Corbin but have faith in anyone who spent that much time with Jazz head coach Jerry Sloan
