The comparison I'd make is this: if you had a boss who you felt - with reason - was a main contributor to your lack of success and that boss was replaced, do you think you'd go into work and try a little harder, knowing that you had a fresh start? Also, it's going to have long-term effects on the franchise, as more free agents will seemingly be interested in coming to a team NOT coached by Mike Dunleavy than one that IS coached by Mike Dunleavy.
