Last Wednesday night, Blake & Taylor Griffin went to eat at California Pizza Kitchen and were served by a friend of mine. To protect his identity I will refer to him by the completely unrelated name of Morin Oore, aka Dawg-O. He supplied me with these hard hitting facts. When ordering, older brother Taylor went first, choosing dumplings as an appetizer and a whole bbq chicken pizza with no cilantro for himself. When Morin turned to Blake and asked what he’d like, Blake said he’d have the same thing. Morin asked “Exactly the same?” and Blake said, “Yeah.” “Dumplings too?” “Yeah.” “No cilantro too?” “Yeah.”
Is it a bad omen for the court that our hopeful future star subverted to his brother? Does the fact that he couldn’t think of his own dish mean that he might not have as high a bball IQ as advertised? Or is it possible that the boys were whipped by stalks of wet cilantro as kids and it has since become their kryptonite? Since all those are mere speculations, we refuse to take a stand on any of those theories. We here at FullyClips only give you the hard hitting journalism that you’ve grown to expect from us. Back to the facts…
Upon completion of said meal of two whole pies and god knows how many dumplings, Blake paid — and we know what you’re wondering O’ Faithful Reader, “How well did he tip?” Good guy Blake tipped over 20%. On a $50 bill he left $12, nearly a 25% tip. Unfortunately, he left his MasterCard behind. Dawg-O ran out onto the street to catch the Brothers Griff, but ala Kyser Soze, just like that he was gone. Morin then left the credit card with his manager.
So Blake, if you’re out there reading this, your credit card is at CPK waiting for you. Readers, please help spread the word so that young Griff can once again have his wallet be complete.
Next week I hope to get exclusive inside info from Baron Davis’ dentist.
