From Blake Griffin Selected to Attend Team USA Mini Camp – Clips Nation:
In further evidence of Blake Griffin’s position in this particular NBA draft, he was the only non-NBA player among the 25 selected to attend USA Basketball’s July Mini camp in Las Vegas.
It’s an honor for Griffin to be selected. Meanwhile, you have to wonder what USA Basketball is thinking by NOT including Eric Gordon on their list. Of the 25 players invited, seven just completed their rookie season in the league. Eric Gordon finished fifth in Rookie of the Year voting.

Bill Simmons writes an open letter to Blake Griffin warning him to run away from the Clippers.  However, unlike Dunleavy’s assertion that Simmons just makes jokes, the sad thing is that the history that Simmons recounts is all true.

For those interested, Thursday during the draft the NBA sites from FanSided.com will have a live chat. Let’s be honest, the draft is long and can be pretty boring at times, so what else are ya gonna do? You can either chat with us, or just listen in(I guess it’s online, so should that be “read in?”). Yes, this Thursday is the NBA draft, and it seems almost a sure thing that the Clips will pick the only can’t miss prospect of the year: Blake Griffin. Even better, word is that not only are they not really listening to trade offers for him, but they do seem to be seeking trades for Zach Randolph, which’d not only give Griffin a starting spot but would also get rid of a player who can’t see half the court (y’know, that whole side where he’s supposed to play defense).

I’mna start my analysis of the players soon, and I’ll be starting with the team’s leader and point guard, Baron Davis, aka BoomDizzle. As I glanced on the web for possible photos to put in that blog, I realized the pictures kinda told the story themselves.
